Waitomo Above-Ground Walks - A simple thirty minute loop track takes you through water-carved tunnels and stunning scenary in the Ruakuri Scenic Reserve.
- A longer three hour walk, takes the walker through native forest, over undulating farmland and features fascinating limestone creations.
- Take a trip out to the wild west coast of the North Island after your visit to Waitomo. A stunning waterfall walk to Marakopa Falls is a must see. (the river falls over three drops, the first two between 6 and 12 metres and the third a towering 36 metre fall!)
