'The Barclay complex has beautiful grounds, a lovely heated swimming pool and a large family spa, handy to restaurants, bars, cinemas and the new Casino. All rooms have Sky TV and data connections. I enjoyed a pleasant 20 minute walk to my office in the CBD each morning and home again in the evening. A taxi fare of $5 was more than reasonable if the weather was inclement.

The owners, Margret and Neil, were helpful and friendly and made life as easy as possible for me during my stay. On cooler evenings I would arrive home from the office and find my lights and my heater on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere'

We have stayed at the Barclay Motel several times. We particularly like it for the private courtyard where we can find the peace and quietness for a relaxing holiday. Lovely to sit out in the courtyard in the fresh air for meals or read a book. Love the outside spa also.
